My name is SyosetsuMTL, I originally started as an audiobook maker who wanted to listen to novels while working and made an audiobook channel on youtube. After a while, I wanted to read novels that have not been translated yet or stopped completely for some reason or another. 

For the record, I definitely do not know Japanese and I strive for the series I cover to be somewhat consistent at least. If someone who knows Japanese would like to take over a series, please let me know!

Site update! Moving Over to Foxaholic!

 Hello! I started this blog because I wanted to branch out from making audiobooks of novels I translated. Eventually, I applied to Foxaholic under WebnovelsCafe ! I have been moving my chapters to that site and picking up new novels there. So what does this mean? 1. Countryside Vampire is going to be ported to the Foxaholic, however up to chapter 20 will be unlocked so you don't have to wait for the chapters you read to be rereleased.  2. Plant Monster Girl diary: I am slowly redoing the translations for it because previously the translations and the wording were done to avoid artifacts with the Text to Speech. Since I am moving away from that, I figured I should redo it and work on getting a better-quality translation. It hasn't been long but thank you for supporting this blog and I hope to see you support me in Foxaholic!

  Prologue   We are currently at a place called "The Tower of the Witch of the Lost Kingdom," located about two days' journey south of the royal capital by carriage. This is actually my third visit to this tower. The previous two visits were as an escort for a certain merchant, but this time I'm here for my own business dealings. Unlike usual, there's no maid to greet us at the base of the tower today. "Hello again, I've come to purchase books," I call out in the ground floor hall, but there's no response. Still, I'm certain someone's home. With no other choice, I lead the four adventurers I hired for protection and cargo handling up the long, massive spiral staircase. We reach a hall in the middle section of the tower without incident. I try calling out again, and finally, the voice of the tower's mistress echoes through the hall. "My, who could it be? Oh, it's you. Hmm, so you're one of those people."...
